The wine has a deep ruby color, with slight purple hints. The nose has a medium (+) intensity and aromas of ripe and juicy black fruits, with a hint of acidity. The first nose, expresses black cherry, black plum, and a touch of blackcurrant jam. The second nose expresses notes of fresh blackberry, and blueberry, as well as hints of mint, thyme, cumin, and a slight note of violet. On the palate, the attack expresses black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry) and red fruits (tangy red cherry, red currant). Then, there are hints of aromatic herbs and spices. The wine is fleshy, with a medium (+) body, enveloping tannins, medium (+) level, and a tight texture. Medium (+) length in the mouth. On the finish, there are smoky and meaty notes, with a hint of bitterness that refreshes the whole with high acidity. At the end of the mouth, a high alcohol level gives a heating sensation. Overall it is a rich and full-bodied wine, but not heavy, with some freshness brought by the acidity and a firm tannic structure.
