Château Puech-Haut – Tête de Bélier 2019 – Languedoc

The nose is fruity, all in precision / control and offers a small richness (all in balance), a very fine power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of quince, quenette and small notes of peach flowers associated with touches of ripe vine peach, pine sap as well as fine hints of garrigue, a subtle hint of sage and a imperceptible hint of star anise. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, full of precision / control, very discreetly tight and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small tension, roundness, a good definition, gourmandize, a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as a very fine aerial side in the approach. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed apple, crushed lychee and small notes fleshy vine peach associated with touches of rose, pine needles as well as fine hints of arbutus / sage (in the background).
