Château Prieuré-Lichine 2021 – Margaux 4ème Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant and reveals a fine concentration (just right), a nice fruit. There are notes of elegant/pulpy blackcurrant, violet and more slightly liquorice combined with delicate touches of graphite, crushed red berries and a hint of crushed blue berries and bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers fleshiness, gourmandize, good definition, precision, purity, freshness, roundness, good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet and, more slightly, blackcurrant, combined with fine touches of vanilla, a subtle hint of liquorice, graphite, chocolate and toastiness. Good length.
