Château Prieuré-Lichine 2011 – Margaux, 4ème Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe black and small notes of ripe wild raspberry associated with touches of lily, cornflower, sweet spices, nutmeg as well as hints of liquorice stick, Cuben pepper and mushroom. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers elegance, a beautiful definition, roundness and a good definition. On the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe wild raspberry and small notes of mild tobacco, violet associated with very fine hints of underwood and nutmeg. Tannins are elegant, very discreetly marked and well-built. A very discreet hint of underwood on the persistence.
