The nose is fruity, powerful, slightly tight and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackerry, crushed cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of spices, woody touches as well as a subtle hint of pepper and peony. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, silky, well-built and offers precision, gourmandise as well as finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed wild strawberry, blackberry and raspberry associated with a subtle hint of redcurrant (in the background). Tannins are fine and firm. Good persistence. There is a discreet hint of almond on the persistence.
