On the palate, the wine is firm and structured, but balanced by juiciness and salivating acidity. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, fresh strawberry, crunchy raspberry, morello cherry, fresh blueberry and blackcurrant, combined with a warm and enveloped spiciness (licorice, clove, grated nutmeg, a hint of cinnamon and vanilla which appear at the end of the mouth), as well as fine floral notes (violet, cornflower).
