The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a fine concentration/power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe wild raspberry and more slightly ripe wild strawberry associated with touches of zan, toasted, pepper, cardamom as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is mineral, fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine suavity as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, cassis and more slightly ripe wild strawberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, cornflower as well as discreet hints of spices. Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of coffee on the finish/persistence.
