The nose reveals a fresh, pulpy fruitiness and a hint of spice. There are notes of pulpy cherry, violet and more slightly blackcurrant combined with fine touches of liquorice, bergamot, cherry blossom and a discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, freshness, volume, a certain brightness of fruit and a very fine crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, fresh/crisp cherry and more lightly fresh violet combined with hints of fresh/crunchy red berries as well as fine cardamom, a subtle hint of fresh lilac, racy minerality and a discreet touch of fresh tobacco. Good length. The tannins are smooth and precise.
