The nose will benefit from decanting. There are notes of crushed blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and, more slightly, violet combined with nuances of liquorice as well as fine camphor and a very discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fresh, mineral (racy minerality), balanced and offers a juicy/fresh frame, roundness, fat and fresh acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh blackcurrant, pulpy/fresh raspberry and more slightly of violet combined with hints of tonka bean, fresh hazelnut and a subtle hint of fresh flowers. Good length.
