The nose is fruity, elegant, fine and more “dense” than on the vintage 2012. It reveals notes of blackberry, sour cherry and slight hints of black berry combined with slight notes of red fruit as well as a hint of toasted oak and slight notes of vanilla. The palate is fruity, fine, soft, delicate, well-balanced, quite gourmande and offers tension, a beautiful elegance, a good fleshy matter as well as an aerial side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, plum and fine notes of fresh red fruits (raspberry, red berries) combined with hints of toasted oak vanilla as well as a discreet hint of chocolate and slight hints of iodized minerality on the finish. Tannins are fine, elegant and supple. The finish is beautifully suave.
