The nose is elegant, beautifully concentrated (full of finesse), freshness, deepness and a fine power. It reveals notes of quite ripe cassis, small ripe black wild berries associated with touches of incense, small crushed red berries, Sichuan pepper, griotte cherry as well as fine hints of strawberry, strawberry flowers, violet, cardamom and very discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is elegant, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, silkiness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, precision, a beautiful suavity, delicacy as well as power, concentration (full of delicacy), distinction, fullness and sapidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quite ripe cassis, violet plumand small notes of violet associated with touches of camphor, small quite ripe wild black fruits, saffron, sweet spices as well as hints of racy minerality, discreet hints of tobacco, clove and cigar (in the background). Tannins are elegant, precise and finely chewy. Good length.
