The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, juiciness and fresh fruitiness. It expresses notes of black plum, morello cherry, strawberry, as well as crushed red plum and raspberry. We also find notes of liquorice, nutmeg, ground cumin in the background, as well as violet, rose petals and a delicate hint of toast. The palate has a tight, even drying tannin structure, but expresses notes of juicy fruits (morello, red currant, red plum, black plum, crushed raspberry), as well as a touch of dark chocolate, liquorice and nutmeg. The finish expresses salivating acidity and good bitterness.
