Château Pomeys 2022 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose offers a certain controlled power, fruit as well as a fine concentration. The wine needs to be decanted. We find notes of wild blackberry, little fairly ripe wild red fruits and more litghtly, pulpy raspberry associated with touches of graphene, tobacco as well as discreet hints of spices. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand nicely defined and offers purity of fruit, brilliance, elegant darkness and concentration. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy cassis and more lightly, bright redcurrant, associated with touches of blond tobacco, sweet rhubarb, as well as fine hints of zan and a subtle, almost sappy hint (in the background). Tannins are sapid, elegant and tasty. Good length.
