Château Poitevin 2023 – Médoc

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain brilliance of the fruit as well as a little power in its grain. There are notes of Bigarreau cherry, small concentrated wild red fruits and small notes of nutmeg associated with fine hints of cassis as well as a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is coating, mineral and offers fruit, juiciness, suavity, accuracy, a certain tension, gourmandize, energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of bright wild red berries associated with touches of tobacco, clove as well as fine hints of nutmeg. Good length. Lovely tasty, powerful and gourmet persistence.
