The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers a slight generosity (in the background). It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of ripe / crushed red berries associated with a hint of ripe / crushed wild strawberry as well as slight hints of flowers, terroir (limestone) and hints of spices. The palate is fruity, nicely gourmande, elegant, suave and offers precision as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed strawberry and slight notes of raspberry associated with slight touches of caramelization, wood, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of cardamom and an imperceptible touch of tea (in background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
