The nose is fruity, ripe and offers concentration. It reveals notes of quite ripe wild blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of griotte associated with touches of candied strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, green cardamom, ceylan tea, fine hints of toasted, a very discreet/imperceptible hint of dark chocolate and saffron. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a mineral frame, fullness, fat, a certain density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte cherry, pulpy/fleshy strawberry, small notes of crushed cassis associated with touches of violet, small crushed berries as well as hints of liquorice, nutmeg, a discreet hint of cardamom and mild tobacco. Good length. Tannins are well-built. A persistence with a hint of alcohol, dark chocolate and liquorice.
