The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers a slight creaminess, a fine intensity as well as complexity. There are notes of violet, blackberry and slight notes of lilac associated with touches of small blue fruits as well as hints of spices and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, freshness, good definition, a little fat, a certain slight roundness, juiciness as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of small, bright red berries associated with a touch of roasted plum as well as fine hints of nutmeg, tonka bean and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The tannins are supple. Good length. Nice work on the good bitters.
