The nose is fleshy and reveals a fine concentration. There are notes of fleshy cherry, strawberry and, more slightly, violet, combined with hints of blackcurrant and a subtle, almost iodine-like touch. A certain purity of fruit. The palate is fruity and offers flesh, juiciness, fine fruit density and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed red currant and more lightly fresh violet combined with hints of lily, fresh liquorice as well as fine notes of racy/almost iodine minerality and a subtle hint of varietal flavours (in the background).
