The nose is slightly closed and needs aeration. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a good definition, juiciness, a mineral frame (beautiful minerality) as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of raspberry, violet as well as very discreet hints of spices, cocoa and a very discreet hint of leather. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry.
