Château Plagnac 2022 – Médoc

The nose offers concentration on the fruit. It reveals notes of crushed red berries, blackberry and small notes of fresh strawberry associated with fine touches of iris, sap as well as fine hints of sweet spices and a hint of fresh clove. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a fine tension, accuracy, a fine fat as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh raspberry and small notes of crushed redcurrant associated with touches of violet, lily as well as a fine almost lilac hint, infusion, sweet spices and a toasted hint. A nice iodized/savory side in the background. A fine mellowness on the finish/persistence.
