The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine suavity, a small juiciness, an acid frame as well as a small freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, fleshy/crushed blackberry and fine touches of strawberry associated with touches of spices, toasted as well as fine touches of roasted oak. Tannins are slightly firm and slightly dry. The finish is slightly dry. There is a small hint of toasted/caramelized almond on the aftertaste.
