The nose is aromatic and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of griotte, very ripe wild blackberry and more slightly crushed red berries associated with tocuhes of crushed raspberry as well as hints of liquorice, toasted and a fine hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a very fine acidulous as well as a very fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, fleshy/juicy cassis and more slightly crushed small red berries associated with a touch of strawberry, flowers as well as discreet hints of liquorice, mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine and very finely dry.
