The nose is fruity, tangy and offers a certain concentration/richness as well as a beautiful acidulous which marks the terroir. There are notes of boysenberry, small bright black fruits and small notes of quite ripe redcurrants associated with hints of spices, morello cherry and a discreet toasted hint. The palate is fresh, mineral, fruity and offers a beautiful acidity, precision, tension, gourmandize, a fine straightness as well as a nice energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cherry, pulpy redcurrants and small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of violet, a hint of camphor, a lovely racy minerality as well as fine roasting/toasted. Good work on the good bitterness.
