The nose is fresh, fruity and reveals a fine richness and concentration. There are notes of blackcurrant, dark berries and slightly morello cherry combined with hints of graphite, liquorice and fine cardamom and almond. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/acidic blackcurrant, blackberry and slightly violet notes with hints of tart raspberry, fine liquorice, tobacco, nutmeg and a hint of graphite and mocha. Good length. The tannins are precise, light and mellow. Nice freshness.
