(83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc) Nice, elegant, complex nose, offering depth, intensity, a pretty floral side and intensity on red fruit. Some aromatic darkness. There are notes of lily, bright wild strawberry and small notes of fresh cassis, associated with touches of lilac, violet, ripe pomegranate, as well as fine hints of nutmeg, a hint of star anise, hints of tobacco and a fine, almost incense-like hint (in the background) and notes of bright bigarreau cherry. A lovely infusion side in freshness and elegance. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame, juiciness, substance and good definition. The mid-palate is beautifully fresh, mellow, bewitching, melodious and driven. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, bright/brilliant cherry and small notes of small juicy/tangy red berries, combined with touches of crunchy blue plum, fine hints of fresh flowers, toastiness, chocolate and toasted almond / toasted hazelnut. Lovely mellow tannins. Nice iodized finish. Fine hints of roasting/coffee in the background. Slight aromatic darkness.
