The nose is fruity, concentrated, gourmand, racy (terroir / gravels) associated with a slight richness. It reveals notes of blackberry cream, wild strawberry and slight notes of cassis combined with touches of wild raspberry, liquorice as well as slight touches of minerality (almost saline) and a hint of vanilla / cardamom. The palate is fruity, well balanced, silky and offers a beautiful mineral frame, acidity, finesse, a small aerial side, suavity, a beautiful grain, freshness, a slight concentration / richness (but with finesse) as well as a slight straightness and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe wild strawberry, fleshy cassis and touches of wild raspberry, small wild fruits, plum associated with subtle hints of sweet spices, wood, slight hints of salinity as well as a very discreet hint of cocoa and oak on the finish. Tannins are fine, chewy and perfectly built. Appetence / gourmandise on the finish. (2022+)
