Château Pichon Baron 2022 – Pauillac, Grand Cru Classé

Château Pichon Baron 2022 – Pauillac, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is elegant, racy and precise and offers a nicely finesse of grain, depth as well as
beautifull textural in finesse. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy cassis small notes of crushed red berries associated with fine hints of cubeb pepper, sweet spices as well as a
hint of rhubarb, graphene and a subtle hint, almost eucalyptus. The palate is beautifully
juicy, fruity, with freshness, minerality, balance, a tangy frame, precision, tension, elegance
and depth. Dense, with elegant austerity, freshness and precision. Discreetly tight, this
wine currently benefits from decanting. It expresses notes of small dense black fruits, juicy
cassis and small notes of roasted-elegant raspberry, associated with touches of chocolate,
balsamic and toast, as well as a hint of roasted hazelnut and cocoa. Lovely finesse and
precision, with fresh tannins. A creamy wine with a certain silkiness.
