The nose is fruity and offers fleshiness, with fine intensity, power and velvety. There are notes of wild strawberry, boysenberry and small notes of dense/crushed redcurrants, associated with touches of tobacco, cubeb pepper and a subtle hint of smoke. The palate is well-built, fruity and offers freshness, a lovely tonka bean-like grain, as well as a little elegant darkness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of small pulpy blue fruits, combined with touches of fairly ripe redcurrants, as well as hints of cornflower, vanilla, toasted and a fine floral side (in the background). Beautiful freshness and minerality. Well-built tannins. A discreet hint of roasting/ mocha.
