The nose is fruity and reveals concentration and fine power. There are notes of fleshy/full-bodied blackcurrant, fleshy/pulpy cherry and more lightly of bright red berries combined with hints of lily, nutmeg, a discreet hint of pepper, a subtle hint of racy gravel, saltiness and cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity/rootiness and minerality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cherry and more lightly bright red berry notes combined with hints of saline/iodine gravel as well as fine nutmeg, fresh liquorice and a discreet hint of fresh flowers/lilac. Good length. Nice sapidity on the finish/persistence. Nice sapidity of the tannins.
