On the nose, fruity, elegant, distinguished offering a certain power (in delicacy). Notes of ripe wild blackberry, morello cherry and more lightly cassis associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, violet, racy minerality, star anise, iodine minerality and a discreet touch of cocoa. The palate is fresh, gourmet, distinguished and offers delicacy and richness finely tightened/mastered (without heaviness). On the palate expressing juicy/pulpy cassis, bright Morello cherry and more slightly blackberry notes associated with hints of violet, redcurrant, racy/gravely iodine minerality, black tea, star anise and delicate mocha notes. Good follow-through. The tannins are elegant and finely smooth.
