Château Phélan Ségur 2024 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity and offers a little concentration. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, boysenberry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of fleshy violet plum, as well as fine hints of small crushed red berries, lilac and nutmeg. The palate is mineral and fresh, it offers good definition, juiciness, suppleness and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, fresh/juicy raspberry and small notes of violet plum, combined with touches of plum blossom, oatmeal/cocoa, as well as hints of bergamot and fine toasted hints. Good length. The tannins are precise, mellow, fresh, tasty and finely gourmand and sappy. A wine offering freshness.
