The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers power (full of finesse), intensity as well as beautifully fine grain and very finely tight. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry and ripe/fleshy wild strawberry associated with small notes of racy minerality, iris, small red berries as well as fine touches of cardamom and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a small tension, a racy minerality, a beautiful finesse, a beautiful definition as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy/ripe raspberry and small notes of cornflower associated with fine touches of cardamom, small ripe wild red berries, iris, discreet hints of toasted, toasted almond as well as a subtle varietal hint (in the background), fine hints of dark chocolate, caramelization and a very discreet hint of sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are elegant ans struturing. Good length and good persistence. A beautiful wine !
