The wine has a deep ruby color. On the nose, it expresses aromas of fresh black and red fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, quetsche, red plum, blueberry, blackberry), as well as peppermint, menthol, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine has a pleasant suppleness: the attack expresses the sweet notes of cherry in chocolate, prune in chocolate, crème de cassis, as well as the freshness of morello cherries, red currants, dried mint and white pepper. The tannins are grippy and tight, but balanced by the fruitiness on the palate. A structured and full-bodied wine, with good acidity and freshness. Good length and good aging potential.
