The palate is fruity, delicate, mineral, beautifully defined / built, well-balanced, precise and offers a small tension, suavity, elegance, a slight freshness, finesse, a beautiful minerality as well as a slight acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberries, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild black berries, flowers (iris, lilac) associated with small touches of crunchy wild red berries, tonka bean, blond tobacco, oak as well as very discreet hints of undergrowth. Tannins are very slightly dry. Good length.
