Château Peyros Greenwich, 43N , Madiran 2020

The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose expresses a lot of concentration and freshness: there are notes of morello cherry, black plum, blueberry and red cherry, complemented by sweet notes of cinnamon, vanilla, liquorice, chocolate mint and morello cherry jam. On the palate, the attack is round and warm, with notes of candied red and black fruits (prunes, cherry jam) and fresh fruits (black plum, red plum, morello cherry) with sweet spices on the finish (cloves, liquorice , cinnamon). The tannins are powerful and drying and need time to soften. High acidity balances the astringency of the tannins. A full-bodied and rich wine.
