The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is subtle and complex: there are notes of sweet spices (cumin, clove, cinnamon), herbs (mint, rosemary), dried flowers (dried rose petals, peony, violet, lilac), and ripe red and black fruits (blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry, black plum, wild strawberry). On the palate, the wine is supple and silky, with powerful, but melted and fine tannins, as well as a nice freshness and good acidity. The flavors are subtly spicy, fruity and generous. On the palate, there are notes of fresh black cherry, chocolate morello cherry, black plum, prunes in chocolate, blackcurrant, blueberry and red cherry. The finish is long and complex : the wine develops notes of cinnamon and dark chocolate. A harmonious, complex and balanced wine.
