The nose is fragrant, delicious and offers density and a pronounced woody side. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, blackcurrant, black plum and raspberry coulis, combined with aromas of toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, dry pine needles, gray pepper, liquorice and of coffee. The palate is straight, structured, also with pronounced woody notes (toasted wood, toasted hazelnut) and dry tannins (even a little astringent, with bitterness). The fruits on the palate are tangy and fresh morello cherry, red cherry, bird cherry, cranberries, raspberry), associated with notes of coffee, blackcurrant leaf and liquorice in the background. The finish is moderately persistent, with salivating acidity and a bitter note of bird cherry.
