The nose is racy, discreetly tight. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, fairly ripe strawberry and more slightly morello cherry combined with touches of violet, nutmeg and fine pepper. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and shows minerality, juiciness and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidic raspberry, fresh/crisp red berries, lily and, more lightly, bright blackcurrant, combined with touches of toasted almond and a delicate hint of balsamic (in the background). Finely woven tannins. Good length.
