Beautiful shiny ruby color. The nose offers complexity, a bouquet of ripe fresh fruits and a very fine jammy hint, which adds a warming aroma to the nose, as well as integrated woody and spicy notes. It expresses aromas of morello cherry in chocolate, cherry jam, crushed blackcurrant, fresh wild strawberry, red currants, as well as prune in chocolate and grape skin (in the background). We also find delicate herbaceous touches (dried thyme, bay leaf, mint) and spicy touches (nutmeg, cloves), as well as a hint of violet and roasted meat in the background. The palate is juicy, enveloping and fruity. The attack offers a bouquet of ripe red and black fruits (griotte, strawberry, red cherry, blue plum, red currant, crushed blackcurrant), which combine with menthol and spicy notes in the mid-palate (dried mint, cinnamon, clove). The finish is rather persistent, slightly chocolatey, with fine notes of dried aromatic herbs (thyme, bay leaf), juicy and delicious. The tannins are firm, but fine and silky. Good balance between tannic structure and lively acidity. A balanced and well-built wine.
