The nose is aromatic. There are notes of blackberry, strawberry and slightly toasted bread combined with hints of toast, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of sweet/warm spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, minerality and a fine creaminess/contained richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, crushed raspberry and more slightly juicy/pulpy blackberry combined with vanilla, toast and fine hints of toasted almond, toasted bread and nutmeg.
