The nose offers fruit, a certain concentration as well as darkness in freshness and elegance. It reveals notes of boysenberry, nutmeg and small notes of toasted-fresh associated with touches of vanilla as well as fine hints of crushed almond, pulpy blackcurrant and a hint of small roasted-juicy red fruits. The palate is nicely built, fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, tension, precision, suppleness, roundness as well as a nice fresh and relatively mellow texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/pulpy blackberry, purple plum and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of small roasted-juicy red fruits as well as an almost blond tobacco hint, cinnamon, a subtle hint of vanilla and fresh clove. Tannins are mellow, sapid and gourmand. A small chew on the finish/persistence. Freshness, darkness and suppleness.
