It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, crushed raspberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of purple bright plum, blueberry as well as fine hints of liquorish, tabaco, a discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The mouth is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, fat, a certain freshness as well as a good definition, a racy/discreetly tight grain, richness (in balance) and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, crushed redcurrant, small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with touches of blueberry, violet, liquorish as well as fine hints of vanilla, a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are well built and finely firm.
