The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition / juiciness, gourmandise, fat, an acid frame, minerality (in the background) as well as freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / crunchy blackberry, juicy raspberry, juicy / ripe red currants associated with small / slight touches of cassis, licorice as well as slight touches of vanilla, toasted woody / almond. Tannins are fine and a bit firm. Good length. The finish is slightly powerful.
