The nose is fruity and ripe. It reveals notes of ripe blackcurrant, raspberry and more slightly violet associated with fine hints of red currants as well as a discreet hint of the varietal. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a fine unctuosity, fat, tension as well as a tangy texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry, juicy blackcurrant and slightly vanilla associated with touches of fairly small ripe black fruits, toasted oak and truffle. Presence of some fine tertiary points. Presence of a fine touch of almost varietal bitterness on the finish.
