A fruit forward nose, offering good concentration, tight berries and a little potency and freshness. Notes of blackberry, bright red berries and more lightly violet combined with hints of lilac, nutmeg, discrete hints of tobacco, cinnamon and a subtle hint of vanilla flowers. The palate is fruity, discreetly tight and offers juiciness, freshness, good definition, energy, some tension, precision, delicacy and good management of bitters. On the palate, expressing elements that are juicy/fresh blackberry, crisp berry and more lightly lilac, rose notes combined with hints of juicy/acidic cassis as well as crisp plum, varietal, fine tobacco, chocolate and a subtle hint of vanilla. Good persistence. The tannins are finely smooth.
