The nose reveals notes of cocoa, spices, undergrowth, crushed cassis, strawberry and raspberry associated with a touch of vanilla, wood and a very discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, a fine acidity (in the background), a good volume as well as a fine fresh frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, blueberry and ripe strawberry, combined with a subtle hint of redcurrant and touches of spices, mocha, tobacco and undergrowth. Tannins are well-built.
