The nose is aromatic as well as offers richness and fine concentration. It reveals notes of chocolate, Boysenberry and fleshy strawberry combined with slight notes of cardamom, caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky, soft and offers minerality, a nice suavity, a juicy frame and a fine freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and fine notes of raspberry, cassis associated with touches of toasted oak, mocha as well as a subtle hint of cardamom, caramelized oak and a very discreet hint of licorice. Tannins are well-built and very slightly firm. Good length.
