Château Pédesclaux 2022 – Pauillac Grand Cru Classé

A lovely elegant, racy, airy nose, which offers a spicy side, notes of cornflower, fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – cubeb pepper, small dense black fruits as well as hints of racy minerality, ripe wild strawberry /crushed, a fine pint of cloves, fresh blond tobacco and a pinch of pepper. The palate is nicely fruity, juicy, pulpy and offers gourmandise, a mineral/fresh frame, energy, purity and depth, a dark/graphite side, but in subtlety. It expresses notes of pulpy/ripe blackcurrant, small dense/juicy black fruits associated with touches of crushed blue plum as well as hints of ripe raspberry, dark chocolate, pencil, bourbon vanilla and fine hints toasted hazelnut. Nice soft tannins, melt in the mouth. Beautiful freshness, purity, precision, fineness of grain. A lovely, soft, chewy delicacy. Very nice freshness and texture
