The nose is fruity, elegant, aromatic and relatively gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, blueberry and violet combined with a touch of liquorice and a fine touch of toffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, a small minerality and a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, plum cream and small notes of cassis associated with a touch of cassis jam, a hint of red fruits as well as slight notes of dark chocolate and oak. Tannins are fine, elegant and slightly grainy. Good length and nice persistence. The finish is relatively powerful.
