A lovely, gourmand nose, soft, precise, with a certain breadth of freshness, accuracy, fine concentration. It expresses notes of fresh Boysenberries, small ripe/fresh wild black fruits and more lightly – star anise associated with touches of almost aromatic herbs, Madagascar pepper, crushed cherry, almost roasted-fresh strawberry and a discreet hint of cornflower, fine hints of liquorice stick and hints of toast. The palate is nicely fresh, juicy, mineral, balanced, with a nice definition, suavity, a nice stretched side, almost chiseled, harmony, elegance and depth. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more lightly – fresh/finely acidulous blue berries, associated with touches of raspberry, bright redcurrants, as well as discreet hints of almost roasted herbs in the background (very discreet), blond tobacco and chocolate. Good length. Soft, sapid and tasty tannins, nice chalky/saline and chiseled character. Airy side in its power
